Liquids In Hand Luggage
To offer greater protection against current security threats, individual quantities of liquids, gels or pastes must be held in individual containers not exceeding 100ml. These containers must be carried in clear plastic, zip-top or re-sealable bag which does not exceed 20cm X 20cm (8in x 8in) or equivalent to one (1) litre (1.75 pint) capacity. These may include:
Hair sprays
Lotions
Shampoos
Medicines
Creams
Toothpastes
Perfumes
Liquid or aerosol deodorants
Water and other drinks, soups and syrups
Note that these items must fit in the bag comfortably and the bag must be completely closed.

Transportation of some materials is considered dangerous by virtue of the fact that these articles or substances are capable of posing a risk to health, safety, property or the environment.

Customers may purchase any liquid items once they have cleared security provided that it is carried in a tamper-evident bag and the receipt is attached to the bag or is placed inside the bag so it is easily readable.
Damaged, Lost Or Delayed Luggage
When your baggage gets delayed or lost during the journey, Air Malawi makes every effort to return such baggage in the shortest possible time.
